Geraldine “Gerry” (Pecha) Ressler, 97, died peacefully on July 27, 2026. Born on Feb. 18, 1929 in Goltry, Oklahoma to Albert and Lula Pecha, on the land her grandfather had staked in the Oklahoma Land Rush of 1889, she spent her childhood on her parents’ farm and graduated from Goltry High School, where she was proud to serve as prom queen (twice). An avid bridge player, she was an active member of her church community and a great lover of animals, especially cats. She enjoyed traveling the world and was fortunate to have been able to visit all seven continents. She particularly enjoyed Asian countries and their cultures.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William “Bill” Ressler, and numerous friends and family. She is survived by four generations of family, and many friends, who are grateful for the time we shared with her.
