Candidate Forum for Park District Race
The March meeting for Citizens United in Forest Park will feature our first ever Candidates Forum. This event is open to the general public and will showcase candidates competing for the two available commissioner positions on the Forest Park, Park District Board. According to schedule, all candidates will present an opening statement followed by a discussion panel whose members will ask questions of the candidates. In addition, the audience will have the opportunity to submit questions to the candidates.
Our original plan did include the District 91 School Board race but that contest is now four candidates for four positions so no debate is warranted.
Please mark your calendar for 7:00 p.m., March 15 and join us at the Forest Park Middle School, 925 Beloit.
