Forest Park schools will close Monday, Feb. 2  due to heavy snowfall and road conditions, District 91  Superintendent Louis Cavallo confirmed. School will be closed at all three Proviso Township high schools in D209.

District 91 parents who need emergency daycare have two options, Cavallo said.

The Park District of Forest Park will provide emergency daycare to D 91 students between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Also, the Community Center of Forest Park will provide daycare for D 91 students between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., confirmed Director Karen Dylewski.

Students do not need to be enrolled in the Community Center daycare. Parents will be required to fill out an emergency contact form, if the center does not have one already. The cost will be $15.

The Park District would be accepting students starting at 6:30. Students must be D91 students to attend the Park District daycare.

All D91 buildings and after school activities will be cancelled as well.
