Forest Park Youth Soccer Associations (FPYSA) is preparing the league for another season this coming spring, said League Vice President Mike Hill.
“The goal of FPYSA is to help children develop soccer skills, learn about teamwork and most importantly have fun,” he said.
The FPYSA league includes almost 400 boys and girls from Forest Park and surrounding communities, Hill said.
“There are no tryouts and everyone plays,” Hill said. Team divisions start from three years old through 8th grade.
The 2015 Spring Season runs from the second week in April through to the first week in June. The Forest Park Youth Soccer Association is independent of the Forest Park District, but the teams play games and practice on the Park soccer fields. FPYSA’s scheduled games are Friday evenings and also during the day on Saturdays.
Registration is open now. If you are interested in joining the league please go to www. FPYSA.org. Registration costs $60 online, and $65 by mail at P.O. Box 261, Forest Park IL 60310. Register in person up until March 12 for $65. Little Kickers serves boys and girls ages three to five years old.
