Fireside Fall Concert

Concert Across America to End Gun Violence

Second annual concert features multiple artists, including Oak Park’s School of Rock, The Velvet Jimis, DG Sax, and Isaiah Makar. OK Classic Charity Softball Tournament and Festival

The 11th Annual event is a 20-team, co-ed, 14-inch tournament to benefit Opportunity Knocks, which serves young people in the community who have intellectual and developmental disabilities through social, recreational and life-skills programming. Nature Storytime

Trailside Museum will host Nature Storytime, a family-friendly event that will feature a nature-inspired story, followed by an activity suitable for children 3-6 years old.

Mindfulness Meditation for Beginners

Join master hula teacher and zen priest June Tanoue for an interactive guide to mindfulness meditation. The one-hour event is open to all adults interested in mindfulness techniques.

TK Camp Fund Pig Roast Fundraiser

Sept. 23, 3 p.m., Doc Ryan’s, 7432 Madison St.:

The 8th Annual TK Camp Fund Benefit will feature a pig roast, silent auction, kid’s activities and more. The fundraiser will benefit the TK Camp Fund, which funds Camp Oasis, for children diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. The $40 donation will cover food, beer and wine.
