The Easter bunny is coming to Forest Park on Sunday, April 12, atop a Forest Park fire truck, in the Bunny Rabbit Ride Along, a collaboration between the village and the Park District of Forest Park.
Beginning at 10 a.m. on the south side of town, the fire truck will make its way north along neighborhood streets.
Residents are encouraged to stay off the sidewalk and curb and instead watch from inside their homes or from their own property, such as their porch or front stairs, while practicing proper social distancing protocol.
It’s also a great opportunity for residents to show support for first responders.
