A 27-year-old man died after being found unconscious at the Forest Park Blue Line Station, 711 Desplaines Ave., on Wednesday, March 23 according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office and Forest Park police.

Officers arrived around 11:15 p.m. and found the man on the ground behind a bench. The man was unresponsive, police said, and officers administered two doses of the opioid reversal drug naloxone before beginning life-saving measures.

The man was transported by ambulance to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. There were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play, according to a police report.

No cause or manner of death had been determined as of March 28. The man has also not been identified.
