Don Rives, linebacker for the rejuvenated Chicago Bears, will be a guest speaker next Tuesday for the 1976 awards banquet of the Kiwanis Kolts and Kiwanis Widgets. All will be guests of the Kiwanis Club of Forest Park and team sponsors for the event to be held at Homer’s Restaurant.

The Kolts captured the Little West Suburban League championship and were unscored upon through their entire schedule. The only “blemish” on their record was a scoreless tie with Cicero, a team they had beaten 19-0 in the season opener.

The Kolts sported a final conference record of five wins no losses and one tie, bringing their record over the past three years to 17-0-1.
