A recess period following lunch has long been an accepted and expected part of the American school day. Younger kids flock to the swings and slides, while older students play kickball or jump rope. Suspect makes a scene at CTA station
Police responded Sept. 8 to a call reporting a disturbance at the CTA station at 711 Desplaines Ave. According to a police report, a man riding the train had seen Alberto Alvarez throwing things around the train and screaming racial slurs at passengers.
